DOOR ENTRY PANELS
Videx manufactures a wide range of standard high quality, vandal resistant, Audio and Video
s
tainless steel and polished brass door entry panels.
All panels are manufactured from 12SWG brushed stainless steel or 3mm polished brass and
are supplied as standard with flush mounting back boxes. Bezel and surface back boxes are
available for all panels (surface back box not available for brass panels).
• All buttons are vandal and super-glue resistant.
• High quality Mylar (water resistant) speaker and amplifier module.
• Monochrome or colour cameras.
• Option for coded access keypads and proximity readers.
• All panels deep cut engraved with black infill for the individual buttons.
• Block names and logos can be added.
• Functional panels available in three standard sizes ex-stock.
• Special size panels manufactured to customers’ requirements.
STANDARD CONTROL EQUIPMENT FOR FUNCTIONAL,
AUDIO & VIDEO
Secrecy of speech and selective lock operation are not available on standard audio systems.
• Audio system requires a 520M power supply.
• Video system requires an 850 power supply, 890 control unit and 894 video distributors.
• Optional BST/GMT time clock for trades access.
SENTRY (1 door) & SENTRY 1 (2 door) CONTROL EQUIPMENT
(AUDIO & VIDEO)
Sentry control units consist of a 1 amp DC power supply, with backup battery facility,
BST/GMT tradesman’s time clock. An additional 20 volt D.C. power supply is required for
video systems. The control equipment is housed in a lockable powder coated metal
enclosure.
• Privacy/secrecy of speech. Only the called apartment can communicate with the visitor.
• Selective lock release. Only the called apartment can release the door locking
mechanism.
• Timed call tone duration, with automatic reset if not answered.

• Optional 4-way isolation boards preventing damaged or vandalised apartment units from
compromising the system operation.
